As well as achieving supermodel status and releasing her own fashion and make-up brands, Kendall has recently announced the launch of her new tequila company ‘818’, named after the postcode of her home in Los Angeles.
As well as producing award-winning super-smooth tequila, 818 focuses on the sustainability of the production process. From the harvesting of the agaves to the traditional distillery methods, the company uses biomass and solar power in its production process. Even the by-products are transformed into bricks that can be used for the construction of local Mexican community projects including libraries and schools.
In a recent photoshoot to promote the 818 tequila brand, Kendall needed some appropriate pool floats to inspire customers to imagine themselves enjoying a delicious drink by the pool. The giant pink inflatable numbers drift lazily on the surface a of a Californian infinity pool, cleverly selling the idea of a touch of sunbathing with an 818 tequila in hand.
The shots were used in Kendall’s recent Instagram story and were warmly welcomed with comments such as ‘need the 818 floats’ and ‘the little 818 is tooooo cute’. To date, the post has over 8.5 million likes!
