The Glastonbury Festival needs no introduction. This incredible global cultural event took place this summer with a dazzling array of music from all genres. Included in the line up was Leicester’s Tor Maries AKA Billy Nomates who played her innovative set on the Park stage in front of a huge crowd of music lovers. Described by the BBC as ‘raucous punk with whip-smart lyrics and major energy’, the 33-year-old singer performed barefoot in front of a giant spiky inflatable art installation supplied by Glow.

The fiercely independent singer-songwriter sang songs including those from her recent, highly acclaimed album ‘Cacti’, the shape of which was echoed by the giant custom inflatable. Before the event, the team at Glow were on hand to set up the impressive white creation which quickly and efficiently provided the dramatic backdrop to her powerful solo performance. The beautiful organic lines of the inflatable complimented Billy Nomates’ pared-back, emotional show to provide the huge Glastonbury audience with suitably impressive staging which could be see far and wide across the fields of Worthy Farm.

As with all of our custom inflatables, the artist’s concept was developed by our experienced design team and delivered to the venue ready to be expertly installed according to the tight schedule of the festival itinerary. In line with the environmental considerations upheld by Glastonbury, the inflatable was easily deflated and packed up, potentially ready to be stored and reused for future performances.

As always, Glow Inflatables Ltd is proud to be part of such an iconic cultural event by supplying unique bespoke products of the highest quality.
