We have worked with the incredible artist Adam Parker Smith to make the balloons that became part of his latest art pieces.
The patterns and text on the foil heart balloons were sunk in resin and designed by Smith Balloons are adored because they mark a special occasion, but they never survive more than a few days; here, Smith casts the hearts in resin so that they can last forever, as if fossils suspended in amber. Adam struggled to source foils that were vibrant enough in colour to stand out clearly in the resin but our gravure printing is bright and bold and worked perfectly with the application.
