Reminding us of warmer times, what could be better than a visit to an open-air cinema to watch a classic movie? Perhaps add a bite-sized ball of artisanal gelato for an idyllic evening of summertime entertainment. Thus, the sponsorship of Luna Cinema by the family-run ice cream company Little Moons couldn’t be more perfect.
Glow Inflatables Ltd were delighted to create some high impact LED replicas of ‘Little Moons’ ice cream balls which were used throughout the summer to publicise the luxury product at each cinematic outdoor event. The creative team at Glow helped to develop the designs to give each ball the unique textured appearance of the real ice cream which is uniquely encased in an outer shell of mochi (a chewy rice flour dough). They also come in a variety of colours in keeping with the selection of available flavours which include the purple vegan passionfruit and mango and pink summer raspberry flavours.
The LED lights within each deceptively tasty-looking sphere are particularly effective once the evening sets in. The darker the skies, the greater the impact. The bright luminescence of the moon-like inflatable spheres also carry the company’s tagline ‘ice cream from another world’.
We initially installed them at an event in London but, as with all our custom inflatable creations, they are easily transportable to any of the 150+ screenings all over the country. These stunning giant inflatable moons have helped to raise the profile of both the Luna Cinema outdoor screening events and their sponsor, Little Moons by adding a little Glow magic to the mix.
