Lightopia was allowed to take place this winter as a safe experience for family and friends to enjoy outdoors with an incredible array of lanterns and visual displays. In a difficult time with everyone stuck indoors Lightopia was an event that took place in Heaton Park in Manchester allowed by the government despite lockdowns. We worked with our customer to create an LED inflatable moon to join the visual display in the park, it looked majestic amongst the dark night sky and around the other light spectacles. The route lead people through the park so that they could see lanterns, projections and our giant inflatable moon. We felt proud to be involved with such an exciting event!
The event was a success and a truly immersive experience for people to get involved in, which was welcome change to the spectators. Our giant glowing balls can be made in any size and we can provide lighting that is suitable for outdoor use. The inflatable spheres can be printed or a stock colour, or the LED inside can depict the colour.
