Hatti Rees is asking us observe ourselves physically and digitally whilst delving into a multimedia universe. We are proud to be involved with Hatti Rees exhibition this year at the Stichting Stedelijk Museum in Breda. Her work is truly outstanding and centres around her non binary journey which are portrayed in her unique and visually stunning pieces. The debut exhibition is called ‘Planet Chill Wonderland’ and can be seen at the iconic museum. The Inflatable ‘Bunny Suicides’ piece is a giant inflatable replica of one of her augmented reality face-filters where her face is transformed into a very freaky bunnies head.
Glow worked closely with the artists from the initial concept through to delivery keeping her vision at the forefront of the project whilst carefully transforming the idea into a working inflatable design that could be climbed inside.
The inflatable piece is being enjoyed at the museum by visitors along with all of her other pieces on display. Inflatable art is one of Glows passions and our work with artists over the last few year have presented some really incredible custom inflatable forms. Hatti herself and the museum were overwhelmed with how well the inflatable looked in situ and commented about our creativity and professionalism.
We have loved every moment working with this team and look forward to any future collaborations.
