Axel Arigato is a Swedish fashion label synonymous with laid-back, minimalistic style. Co-founders Max Svardh and Albin Johnsson take their inspiration from Japanese and Scandinavian subculture. Their understated designs promote a ‘wear now, keep forever’ policy and use eco-friendly materials such as recycled marine litter.
Known for their high-quality outerwear, Axel Arigato launched a new range of puffer jackets this autumn. These modern classics combine contemporary designs with functional warmth.
According to global fashion and media brand Highsnobiety, one of their favourite aspects of the Axel Arigato puffers launch is the ‘virtual puffer environment’. This has been translated, in collaboration with Glow Inflatables Ltd, into an immersive shopping experience in their Stockholm store. Inspired by the pastel blue puffer jacket from the new collection, Glow created oversized inflatable jackets for their window display and a matching inflatable enclosure for inside the store. The pastel blue inflatable enclosure serves to attract curious potential customers, drawn in by the cosiness of the puffer-like environment.
The clever use of custom inflatables supplied by Glow is ideal for replicating the shape and texture of the puffer jackets. The oversized inflatable jackets were also rolled out for use in the window displays in London, Stockholm, Munich and Copenhagen.
