The traditional style and elegance continues outside where the striking, cobalt blue Jemaa pool is inspired by the Majorelle Garden in Morocco and provides private cabanas and plush daybeds on which guests can relax and soak up the Nevadan sunshine. Refreshments can be ordered with the click of a finger – nothing is too much trouble for the highly praised staff.

However, the NoMad management team were keen to attract a wider demographic to their hotel and provide a whole new dimension to their services thus in March 2019 the idea of the Jemaa Pool Party was conceived.

Las Vegas is famous for hosting spectacular pool parties with thousands of people flocking to ‘Sin City’ to see some of the world’s top DJs whilst splashing around and enjoying the glorious desert sunshine. The NoMad hotel were keen to get a piece of the action whilst maintaining their exclusive, high-class reputation.

In planning the concept of the Jemaa Pool Party, their thoughts naturally turned to the provision of some fantastic inflatables to make a dramatic splash. It was essential that they could provide a striking selection of luxury pool floats for guests to enjoy that would complement the classy ambience of their hotel.
Guests needed to be able to relax comfortably whilst ensuring that they were safe and not likely to tip up with the slightest ripple. For hard-core party animals, the floats needed to be robust enough to allow guests to stand upright and dance.
Not only was it important that the guests would have fun using the floats but they also needed to create an impact during promotional photoshoots so vibrant colour choice was an important consideration. These events were likely to be heavily shared on social media by international influencers and celebrities so they needed to reflect the quality and status of the NoMad brand as well as conveying the intrinsic fun of the pool party.

Glow Inflatables was the natural choice to bring their ideas to life.

Glow Inflatables were commissioned to create numerous luxury double mattress floats in stunning Moroccan blue for guests to relax on and absorb the dreamy ambiance of the pool parties. Glow Inflatables also provided huge, circular floats that were 10 feet in diameter and were in vibrant yellow tones to tie in with the glamourous setting. These spectacular floats were robust enough to support the weight of up to fifteen people. The designs also incorporated the distinctive logo of the NoMad Hotel chain, UV printed for durability.

As the pool parties were going to be a regular feature every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer months, Glow Inflatables’ creations were heavy-duty, hard-wearing and safe as well as striking. NoMad were delighted with the products and stated that they were perfect for the setting and added to the luxury daytime party vibe.

To celebrate the inaugural party, who could be more prestigious as guest DJ than Academy Award, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning hitmaker Mark Ronson? With the vibe of a New York or Los Angeles roof-top party, the seductive daytime event attracted a lively crowd who utilised the inflatables to their full potential. Basking in the sun, enjoying cocktails and being treated to an exclusive set by Mark Ronson, the guests included swimsuit model Nina Agdal, actor Jack Brinkley-Cook, X-Factor winning singer Leona Lewis, actor and singer Chord Overstreet, actor and model Tanner Novlan and Vampire Diaries actress Kayla Ewell. The event certainly exceeded expectations and provided great publicity for future Jemaa Pool Parties.

The Daily Mail commented: “Jemaa – the NoMad Pool Party is setting itself apart as the new daytime destination and will surely be the most glamourous, luxurious and exciting celebrity-studded party in Las Vegas.”

After this highly publicised and much praised opening, the Jemaa Pool Parties have continued to delight guests thanks to the combination of a high-quality hotel experience from NoMad, the creatively selected musical experiences and the entertaining addition of stunning pool floats provided by Glow Inflatables.
